VISIT KOULOURA
This quaint village, situated about 2km away from Kalami, features a fishing harbor. The bay of Kouloura is being surrounded by dense vegetation and some private properties.
At the picturesque area of Kouloura you will find a traditional tavern and a church along the sea.
The views from the local harbor are always photographed since it is a scenery straight out of a painting. Next to the harbor of Kouloura you will have the chance of visiting a small beach.
Very often there are also available yachts that can be hired for boat tours to nearby bays, while there are visitors who love diving in the crystalline waters, exploring the underwater life.
It is notable that from Kouloura you can easily get to the area of Kalami, which is widely-known for the White House of the Durrell family, where the family of the eminent author Gerald Durrell lived.
